About the academyHidden
potential.
Our core focus is to inspire others to discover their hidden potential. We are a martial arts academy that feels like a home away from home, run by a husband and wife team.
The coaches
Who you will
train with.
Wald
Bloise
Master · Head instructor
Students call him patient, warm and caring, and remember his animal analogies and his Brazilian-English accent. He built the academy's step-by-step curriculum and keeps track of where every student is in it. He is also a Muay Thai black belt.
Bruna
Bloise
Owner · Head instructor
Coach Bruna has years of experience teaching kids martial arts and leads much of the kids program. She believes the most important thing kids take from class is the life skills they carry with them forever.
Ana
Nobili
Instructor
Coach Ana is one of the coaches parents name most in their reviews. She pours her heart into the kids classes, teaching through actions and words, and helps make the academy a place parents feel supported too.
Lead. Grow.
Bring the passion.
Lead: we lead from the front. Growth: we are a catalyst for better. Passion: our passion yields tenacity and enthusiasm.
Painted
on our
walls.
Courtesy. Modesty. Perseverance. Integrity. Self-control. A never quit spirit. These are taught on purpose, all year, to every student from Little Champs to black belt.
And above the mat, the line this whole website is built on: a black belt is a white belt who never quits.
01
Programming
Our curriculum follows developmental stages. Small, clear milestones add up to greater long-term results, whether you are 5 or 55.
02
Inclusive
Kids, teens, parents, beginners and lifelong martial artists all train here. Nobody is too young, too old or too out of shape to start.
03
Cheers
Walk in for your second class and people will remember you. Students say the community is what keeps them coming back.
What families say
Our daughter started in kindergarten and has essentially grown up in this program. Each year we have seen her develop more confidence, discipline, and leadership skills. She has learned to stand up for herself and for others, both on and off the mats.
We were very impressed with how friendly and welcoming Wald and Bruna were from our first contact with them. And love that they are a husband and wife team!
Coach Ana and the entire team pour their heart and soul into nurturing the kids' development. They go above and beyond to support parents too, like offering Parents' Night Out.
Wald's classes have been the most effective and meaningful treatment for my post-traumatic stress and traumatic brain injury. I am so fortunate to have found this place.
We make the drive all the way up from West Palm 2 to 3 times a week. The gym feels like a family when you walk in.
